Pickin in the Backwoods," brought to you by Coyote Radio Show and Podcast alongside Duke’s Indy, is an event you won’t want to pass up. Immerse yourself in the scenic backwoods of Brown County, Indiana, for an unforgettable two-day experience! Crafted with the fans in mind, this event is all about creating a close-knit atmosphere. With tickets highly limited, attendees are guaranteed an exceptionally intimate live show.

Pickin' in the Backwoods is a rain or shine event and tickets can't be refunded for any reason.


Is parking available at no cost? Yes, parking is available and is free of charge.


Can I bring my RV? RVs, campers, pop-ups, buses, or large vehicles are not permitted unless arrangements have been made with us in advance. Nearby campgrounds may accommodate RVs.


When do the gates open? Gates will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 16th, 2024. Early arrivals will have to wait outside until the gates open, without exceptions.


When does the music start and end? Music kicks off at Noon on Friday and 11AM on Saturday, concluding at Midnight each day. Acoustic sessions can continue throughout the night.


When does the festival conclude? All attendees must vacate the premises by 11AM on Sunday, August 18th, 2024, with no exceptions.


Is re-entry to the festival allowed? Re-entry is permitted as long as you have your wristband on and it remains intact.


What about the weather conditions? The event will proceed regardless of weather. Safety is our paramount concern; should weather conditions become hazardous, music will be paused until it's safe to resume.


Are pets allowed? Pets are strictly prohibited at Explore Brown County. The only exception is for service animals.


Is alcohol permitted? The event is BYOB. Anyone bringing alcohol must be prepared to show valid age proof with a proper ID. Underage drinking will not be tolerated.


What about ticket transfers or refunds? Tickets are non-refundable. For those wishing to transfer tickets to someone else, assistance will be provided upon contacting us at pickininthebackwoods@gmail.com.


What items are prohibited? The following items are not allowed:

  • Golf carts/ATVs (bicycles permitted)
  • Glass containers
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Guns or weapons
  • Illegal substances
  • Cars in the camping area
  • Camping or tents in the parking lot
  • Reserved camping sites; first-come, first-serve basis only
  • Unregistered vending
  • Tents on paths or roadways
  • Swimming in the pond
  • Bringing outside firewood (available for purchase on-site)
  • Fishing in undesignated areas (catch and release only)
