Rye Davis is chasing that Neon Rainbow, performing hundreds of shows over the years. In that time, he has opened for Ted Nugent, Puddle of Mudd, Uncle Cracker, Chris Knight, Sunny Sweeney, Bucky Covington, Whitey Morgan, Dallas Moore, Emi Sunshine and more! He has been featured on ABC's Rising Star competition, and was an invited performer at Nashville's famous Bluebird Cafe.
Rye was born a farmer’s son in a small town called Pig, KY. where he still resides his beautiful wife, Brandy. The farm is where he learned his hard work ethic that he continues to use with his music career. His musical journey started while playing professional baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies organization in Clearwater, Florida. Thats where Rye bought his first guitar. He’d had a lifelong passion for music and had wanted to learn to play. He figured since he had days to kill between games, now would be the perfect time. So he bought a cheap guitar and, as he puts it, “That was the spark that started the fire. I started learning and strumming chords and fell in love with songwriting, plus the guys liked to hear me sing.”
Rye’s smooth, distinctive vocals, captivating songs, and his live show energy bring his brand of Country Music to a whole new generation of listeners who never knew what Country could be. Armed with a can-do attitude and unwavering faith and determination, Rye Davis stands as a beacon of hope for the return of real, down home, honest music.
